- Problem with a Lux vacuum cleaner
-
My appliance no longer works
Check with another power outlet. For Lux Intelligence vacuum cleaners, please check that the Hepafilter behind the bag is present and locked. For other appliances, please contact us.
My appliance lights up but doesn't work
Your appliance may be safe: on Lux Intelligence models, check that the Hepafilter is in place and locked; on other models, wait 1 hour before restarting: if your appliance restarts, it's blocked: check the blower hose and run a wire through it on the handle side, check the rigid tube, check the brush. If it doesn't start up again, please contact us.
My machine works, but it heats up abnormally
Change your bag and filters. Always use Lux Original bags and filters. Brown bags are adaptable bags that can cause the vacuum cleaner to heat up abnormally and damage your motor. Filters must be replaced regularly: once every 5 bags. Check that your hose, rigid tube and brush are not partially blocked. If the problem persists, please contact us.
My machine stops working after a few minutes
Your machine has gone into safety mode: replace the bag and filters. Check that the hose, rigid tube and brush are not clogged: turn the hose on the blower and run a wire through the hose on the handle side. If the problem persists, please contact us.
